I have rented from MCW Properties for four years. I am disabled due to mobility and breathing issues. Before I moved in, MCW Properties modified my apartment for easy access and functioning. Examples of these modifications are adding a handrail to the front steps, building smaller proportioned steps for the back entrance and putting wood overlays so I can “roll” through the house with ease.

In October, 2011, my sister moved in due to health issues. MCW Properties immediately added handrails in the bathroom for easy access in and out of the tub and rails to assist getting up and down off the toilet. MCW Properties also took the carpeting out of the bedrooms, painted and installed laminate floors to help with our breathing issues.

With my sister also came my two nephews. Since my apartment was only three bedrooms, MCW Properties built a bedroom/office in the basement. The room was wired especially for my nephew’s IT business. Duct work was also run for the heating and cooling. They also ran special cable to the second floor for my youngest nephew’s computer needs.

MCW Properties bends over backwards to make sure updates and modifications are done to accommodate the health and physical needs of their tenants.

If not for the care and dedication to the welfare and well-being of their tenants, I don’t know what would have happened to my family.

We enjoy having Michael and Chris as our landlords. They are always available for questions or maintenance requests. We moved here from Georgia not knowing anyone and they have welcomed us and made us feel right at home.
